I have gone cosmetics crazy! I love me some makeup. Unfortunately, my wallet is paying the price for my cosmetic addiction. I really need to take a break and use up the products I have. I just can't seem to tear myself away from makeup... or jewelry... or clothes or books or .... the list goes on.

Anyway, I promised myself I wouldn't buy any makeup in January, and I just purchased a new blush palette. Ahhh!!! I couldn't help it. It was on sale. I wanted it. The reviews were great.
I have to learn to resist temptation. Any tips on how to put a cosmetic addiction on hold in order to protect your bottom line?
Talk Soon,
T.
Haven't got any tips unfortunately :( Good luck though!

Ahhh I feel for you babe, that is exactly one of the reasons I've decided to take a little break from blogging, it's necessary for me, I think a lot of times, well at least in my case, I purely bought something to blog about it, well obviously I wanted it, but the fact that I wanted to blog too swayed my decision to buy. Good Luck, hope you find your happy balance :-) x
ReplyDeleteI understand. When there are new products out there, I do want to grab them to try for myself and to post on my blog. I think I will do more non-makeup posts and posts about products I already have during the no-buy. Good luck with your blogging break :)
DeleteI can relate.
ReplyDeleteIt can get difficult to resist sometimes.
You can try to stay away from situations that will result in you shopping.
If Im online and I see a sale, I distract myself by watching Netflix instead.
If Im at a mall, I try to go with a friend who I can trust with my card so that she can stop me from splurging.
Good luck!
